The course is usually conducted over three consecutive days however we can tailor this to fit in with your schedule – after all, you are on holidays!

 

To enrol in an Open Water Diver course (or Junior Open Water Diver course), you must be 10 years old or older. No prior experience with scuba diving is required. The only other prerequisites to start the course are that you are able to swim and float and that you are in good physical health.

 

The Open Water Diver course consists of three main phases:

• Knowledge Development to understand basic principles of scuba diving. This can be done here with us or online before you even arrive in the Dominican Republic.

• Confined Water Dives to learn basic scuba skills

• Four Open Water Dives to use your skills and explore!
